Kevin received his bachelor of music education and saxophone performance from MSU, his Masters as a Woodwind Specialist from MSU, taught band at JPS’s Middle School at Parkside for 34 years and retired in July of 2025. He has performed in bands since he was 10 years old, played lead alto sax with the “Temptations” for a short tour, and loves performing as a saxophone/flute/vocal soloist with backing tracks for 15 years at many local venues in and around Jackson. He still loves teaching individual lessons at the JSO.
