Beat Making Workshop
This class is a partnership between the Martin Luther King Center and the Jackson Symphony Orchestra Community Music School. We will explore music production including songwriting and the music software Garage Band. Students will create at least two songs with the opportunity to present the songs in a concert at the Jackson Symphony Orchestra’s Weatherwax Hall.

- Classes will be held at the Martin Luther King Center utilizing the newly renovated music production suite.
- There are a maximum of 10 spots available in this class
- For students in grades 8-12
