Piano Kids II

This is a continuation class for students that were enrolled during the spring semesters in PK I classes. We will continue to strengthen note reading skills and other music theory concepts. Students will have opportunities in class to receive feedback and play for peers.

If you were enrolled in Piano Kids I or Piano Explorers in summer, we recommend Piano Kids I for the school year.

  • Ages: 6-10 years
  • Price: $400, equates to $50/month
  • Wednesdays, August 26 – May 19, 5:30-6pm
  • Tuesdays, August 25 – May 18, 1:30-2pm (Homeschoolers)

Instructor: Jana Graves

Jana began playing piano at age four and was teaching lessons and accompanying choirs by age fifteen. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Music Performance and Music Education K–12 from Cedarville University and Olivet College, with additional study at Eastern Michigan University, and studied jazz piano while performing as a sought-after accompanist. Jana has taught piano, classroom music, choir, guitar, and voice for students ages four through adult in Michigan, Georgia, and the Chicago area, while also accompanying for weddings, religious services, musical theatre, and dance productions. Passionate about helping students grow, she enjoys preparing them for performances and competitions, arranging music to fit their abilities, and inspiring a lifelong love of music.
