T. Logan Rees is a pianist, harpsichordist, and organist who teaches piano with an approach that is both engaging and goal-oriented. He helps students build strong foundations in technique, sight-reading, ear training, and improvisation, tailoring lessons to fit each student’s interests and learning style. Logan brings extensive performance experience on piano, organ, and harpsichord to his teaching. Whether they are a beginners, returning players, or preparing for college auditions or advanced study, he provides the tools and guidance to help his students succeed at the keyboard.
As a performer on historical instruments, Logan is especially interested in bringing classical music to life in a way that reflects the style and sensibilities of the time it was written. He also enjoys finding creative ways to adapt older music — originally written for very different instruments — to the modern piano.
Logan completed his Master of Music in Early Keyboards at the University of Michigan (2025), and his Bachelor of Music in Keyboard Performance at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory (2023).
