Shaun began playing violin in 1977. Through high school he was a sectional violinist with the Longview (Texas) Symphony Orchestra, then with the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra.
He has been a core musician with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra since 2015, and also performs with the Southwest Michigan and Adrian Symphony Orchestras.
Shaun started teaching violin and viola at the Community Music School in 2021 with emphasis on fundamental techniques. He adjudicates for the annual student scholarships and aids in the Jackson Youth Symphony Orchestra auditions.
