My name is Joel Buras. I’m from San Diego, California. I started playing trumpet when I was nine years old. I have played trumpet with Jens Lindemann, Wayne Bergeron, Maynard Ferguson, Mike Bogart, Willie Murillo, and Patrick Hession. I currently play lead trumpet in the Ambassadors Big Band here in Michigan, and I enjoy playing in local bands whenever I can. I am also a Spanish teacher. I have lived in Michigan since 2018.
