Beginning Guitar

Are you interested in jamming to your favorite country or rock artist? Or would you like to accompany other musicians in your family? Join our group beginner guitar classes to learn how to play and learn about guitar history and styles. For Ages 10-15; No experience is required!

We’ll work on proper playing technique, basic chords, simple strumming patterns, rhythm, reading chord charts and tablature, and playing familiar songs.

Students must provide their own instrument, if you are in need of a rental, we can assist in setting that up through SHAR Music.

Instructor: Mike Crupi

Mike Crupi has been performing professionally across the I-94 corridor for over 30 years. With extensive experience playing blues, rock, country, jazz, and original music in many different settings, Mike prides himself on being a well-rounded musician, capable of teaching all styles. He accepts students at all levels and of all ages, from complete beginners to advanced players. He offers lessons in several instruments, including guitar, mandolin, electric bass, and harmonica.
