  • Affordable group violin classes for students in grades 4 – 5
  • At local Jackson area participating elementary schools
  • Downtown lessons for students in non-participating schools
  • Led by CMS faculty
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd year lessons
  • 3rd year classes are downtown at CMS
  • Twice a week small group classes of 6 – 12
  • Cost: $200 per semester
  • Financial assistance available

In addition to exploring great music, learning to play a musical instrument offers other great lifetime benefits such as:

  • Developing academic and socially oriented skills, including self-discipline and concentration
  • Learning to listen and follow oral/written directions

  • Recitals are scheduled at the end of each semester and are included in tuition. These recitals are held at the Jackson Community Music School building, downtown. All String Team students are invited to participate.
